Delete my Loufoque account
How to request deletion
To delete your Loufoque account and all your associated data, send an email to the address below from the email address linked to your account, with the subject "Delete my account".
Your request is handled within 30 days maximum (usually within 72 h). A confirmation is sent to you by email once the deletion is complete.
Data deleted
- Your account identifier and your email address
- Your learning progress (anchored cards, levels, statistics)
- Your personal mnemonics (text and generated images)
- Your profile settings (language pair, audio preferences, etc.)
- The history of your review sessions
Data retained
For legal or technical reasons, some data may be kept in a restricted way:
- The cards you made public (mnemonics shared with the community) stay visible anonymously, unless you explicitly request their removal in the same email.
- Technical logs (Netlify / Supabase server logs) are kept for a maximum of 30 days before automatic deletion.
- Any invoices related to a Premium subscription are kept for 10 years in accordance with French law.
Deletion within the app
You can also log out directly from the "Profile" screen of the app. Logging out does not erase your server data — for full deletion, use the email request above.
