What is Loufoque?
Loufoque is an app for learning Russian vocabulary through illustrated mnemonics: for each word, you invent a little memory sentence and the app generates an absurd illustration that anchors the word in your memory.
How do the mnemonic images work?
You write your memory sentence, and the app creates an illustration from your idea. The more surprising the scene, the better the word stays in your head. Images are generated automatically: if an illustration doesn't suit you, you can regenerate another one.
How many images can I generate for free?
In the trial version, you get a free image quota. To generate without limit and unlock all features, you can upgrade to premium. Details and prices are on the Pricing page.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed directly by the App Store (Apple) or Google Play. To cancel, open the subscription settings of your Apple or Google account: cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Need help? Write to us at contact@loufoque.app.
A shared image or piece of content is a problem
Cards made public go through automatic moderation. If you spot inappropriate content, report it to contact@loufoque.app: we handle it as quickly as possible.
My personal data
You can export your data from the app, and the details of how it is processed are explained in our privacy policy (GDPR compliant).
Delete my account
You can request the full deletion of your account and your data at any time from the Delete account page.
